On the 5th September we decided to try Weeting Castle a try, with it being local we were able to arrive in time for the sunset which on this evening was 19:37.

This was not a military installation but from what I was told built by a rich farmer and not a large location. Unfortunately the ruins were unstable in places and metal barrier were in place restricting access and was also an eye sore.

The sunset was fairly decent. An unexpected surprise was one of the members who was exploring the area found a disused ice pit.
