On 18th June we welcome Roger Hance, a well known photographer based in Colchester. He will be talking and displaying photos on general nature subjects.
This is a talk covering the full breath of the subjects that I tackle for natural history. It covers birds, insects, wild flowers, mammals, reptiles and close ups. It shows some of the best places in the British Isles for nature photography, some that are well known, as well as some of the least know. It will also show you what time of year to go and what equipment you will need.
Roger has been taking photos over 30 years having images published in British photographic publications and won awards such as Amateur Photographer of the Year Award in the AP magazine 1990.
Anyone is welcome to turn up at Caston Village Hall to enjoy his talk. 7.30pm till 10pm. £5 to non members and includes refreshments at half time.
